SALARY: Plan. NEGOTIATE. PROSPER.

What is a salary?

A salary is a fixed amount of money an employer pays to an employee for performing specific duties over a given period, typically expressed as an annual amount (e.g., $50,000 per year). Unlike hourly wages—which are based on the number of hours worked—salary often remains the same regardless of the number of hours or workload variations in a week (though some roles may have overtime or bonus structures on top of a base salary).
